The Jan uary 2012 edition of Top Gear M agazine f eatured a preview of what to expect in ser ies 18.[6] It included a piece where Richard Hammond drives a NASCAR safety car for a real race, later goi ng on to drive an actual NASCAR race car. The magazine also featu red a part of some of the power tests to expect, including Jerem y Clar kson drivin g a Merce des-Benz C63 AMG Black Edition, a Merced es SLS AMG R oadster and a Masera ti GranTurismo MC Stradale. Hamm ond meanw hile wi ll drive a 2012 B MW M5 F10, and May wi ll have a Vauxhall Cor sa Nürburgring Edition. Another feature is going t o China to test drive Chin ese c ars, Ita ly in 3 sup er-cars, Lamborghini Aventado r, Noble M600 and a McLare n MP4-12C. According to Top Gear Executive Producer Andy Wilman, Clarkson, H ammond and May are going to north ern Swede n as we ll, whe re they will race the new Ferrar i FF acro ss a Silverstone Circuit-shaped ice trac k.
